90-Minute Parent/Student Component

The 90-Minute Parent/Student Component fulfills the requirements of § 22.1-205(A) of the Code of Virginia as part of the state-approved driver education curriculum. This course provides educators with access to best-practice resources, the updated 90-Minute Parent/Student Component, and language-accessible transcripts. Delivered in every school division across Virginia, the component is designed to promote informed decision-making, responsible driving practices, and meaningful parent-student communication to support the development of safe and responsible drivers.
