Elevating the Mathematics Process Goals to Increase Student Outcomes in Grades 4-8

Educators will be equipped with mathematical insights and instructional strategies needed to elevate the Mathematics Process Goals. Ideas related to problem solving, reasoning, representations, connections, and communication will be explored while analyzing grade-level standards. Participants will examine instructional strategies, tasks and questioning techniques that elevate student thinking, promote discourse and build conceptual understanding. Participants will earn 10 recertification points upon completion of the course.
